Course Description: This course focused towards a school located in Reñaca. It is completely sponsered independatly by private investors and provides education for students from Pre Kinder to 4 Año de Enseñanza Media.
It’s known for it`s high quality of infrastructure, and quality of it´s teachers. It`s teachers focus on a constructive tendency, making students reflect on a daily basis, in order to have there own insights, in order to make the metacognition process more affective. Even though there are 14 levels with an aproximate of 600 students.
The social surroanding is very important, this school is located on the outsides of the city. Most of the parents are people with a high level of education meaning Doctors, Engineers,Dentists,Lawyers and businessman.
The main idea of this course is focused to the acquisition of comunicative competences, in order to provide the student the tools to perform socially in a high level.


Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, the students will:

  • Answer and respond to any inquiry.
  • Understand the usage of the diferent tenses
  • Be able to ask and give information about directions.
  • Build sentences to give information by writing.
  • Be able to ask and provide personal information.
  • Be aware of the mulitple verbal phrases, and the proper usage.
  • Express his/her likes and dislikes.
  • To explain weather conditions.

Course Format:Classes at the auditorium and many oral presentations.  (eventually).

Course Requirements:
  • This class requires a 80% of attendance.
  • Cellphones are not allowed.
  • Students can arrive maximum 10 minutes late if they are justified by a supervisor.
  • Each class the students will have a quiz about the contents of the previous class.(25%).
  • There are going to be three quizzes(25%), two written and one oral; and a Middterm (15%) and a Final Exam (35%), both oral.

Houghton Mifflin/McDougalGarciaPatterns of Interaction
